Koehler Buttermilk Cake

2 Cups sugar
3/4 cup shortening
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 Tablespoon Almond flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream sugar and shortening together. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk.

Bake in greased Bundt pan at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
